FAQs

1. Do you charge per resident or per hour?

We charge by the hour of services provided, because every referral is different. We want to ensure that you get the best clinical outcomes for your residents, while also allowing time for site-specific nutrition queries or challenges. We also include mealtime reviews as part of our individual assessments, so that we can get a comprehensive nutrition assessment for each individual while also identifying if staff assistance or food service issues are contributing to clinical issues.

2. Where do you travel to if we’re not in the Perth metro area?

Nosh Dietitians Co. will travel within the greater Perth Metro area, as well as the South West region of WA. If you are outside these areas, please send an inquiry through as we can discuss possible travel options. Alternatively, we can arrange telehealth options to provide both assistance with both clinical services and menu & mealtime assessments.

3. What happens if we’re in a Covid-related lockdown?

It is essential that you have continuity of care with dietetic services during a Covid-19 lockdown. In our experience, lockdowns can lead to increased rates of unintentional weight loss and malnutrition because families are unable to visit their loved ones. Families often provide much needed additional assistance at mealtimes, as well as the social interaction that improves dietary intake.

We are able to provide telehealth services that are very similar to an in-person dietitian visit. We have a telehealth framework that outlines the information we need from you, as well as how we will conduct our remote services. Contact us for further information on how we can support you during these difficult times.
